n.r.a.

i went to the nAtionaL rifLe aSsociation last friday. first, i took a safety test and then i was formally introduced to a .22 caliber rifle. the very first real firearm i've ever shot in my whole life. just see the target, not bad for a beginner huh... it was fun but sort of scary at the same time. now i understand why my boyfriend loves paintball so much. it's not so much of the shooting part, it's your concentration and knowing when you're ready to finally hit the trigger and doing it all over again until all bullets are used. but i don't think i'll ever get used to hearing all those sudden gun shots in the shooting range, even with ear protection. holding a loaded gun is enough experience for me though, what more to actually be able to shoot it.
now my curious mind has been given the satisfaction it needed. i guess i'll just stick with paintball eh?!?
